ITEM SEVEN IS COMMISSION MEMBER REPORTS.DO ANY OF THE COMMISSION MEMBERS HAVE ANY REPORTS OR ANYTHING TO REPORT? UM, CHAIRMAN WELLS, I'LL JUST MENTION FOR THE PUBLIC'S INFORMATION, WE HAD A HOPEFULLY PRODUCTIVE MEETING WITH THE TOWN COUNCIL, UM, MONDAY.
MONDAY, UH, WHERE WE LOOKED AT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AND THE CONSULTANTS, UH, FUTURE VISION FOR REVISING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, ZONING ORDINANCE, UM, TO MAKE SURE BOTH BODIES WERE ON THE SAME PAGE.

I THOUGHT IT WAS PRODUCTIVE.I THOUGHT IT GOT A LITTLE OFF TASK AT TIMES, BUT, UH, FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS PRODUCTIVE IN THE SENSE THAT THE TWO BODIES ARE HOPEFULLY ALIGNED IN THE VISION THAT THE STAFF AND THE CONSULTANT DOES.
AND AS THOSE PROCESSES PROCEED THROUGH US, WE FIND THAT COMMON GROUND AND CAN MOVE FORWARD.
BUT IT WAS NICE THAT ALL OF US WERE IN ATTENDANCE.
AND, UM, THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING THE FACT THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION USUALLY APPROVES OR NOT APPROVES BASED, BASED ON THE ORDINANCES AND THE LAW OF THE TOWN.
AND, UM, WE NEED TO BE SENSITIVE WHEN THE TOWN COUNCILS OVERRULING THAT.
UH, PERHAPS THERE'S WAYS TO FIX THAT, UM, THAT WE'RE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE, BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP ON THAT.
[VIII. PLANNING DIRECTOR REPORT]
FORWARD.ITEM EIGHT IS THE PLANNING DIRECTOR REPORT WITH THE FEBRUARY MONTHLY REPORT.
SO FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY, OUR DEPARTMENT HAD 242 WALK-INS FROM THE PUBLIC.
UM, WE ISSUED 18 ZONING PERMITS.
WE HAD 18 NEW CODE ENFORCEMENT CASES AND CONDUCTED 17 CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTIONS.
WE HAD 24 RE-INSPECTIONS AND WE HAD ONE PROPERTY, NEW PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTION AND ONE, OR SORRY, FOUR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE RE-INSPECTIONS.
WE HAD THREE LAND USE APPLICATIONS.
UH, THEY SHOULD BE COMING TO YOU IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS OR WEEKS.
UM, AND THEN WE ISSUED 71 RIGHT OF WAY UTILIZATION PERMITS.
UM, PREVIOUS MONTH WE ISSUED 74.
I'M THINKING THAT, THAT THAT LARGE CHUNK OF PERMITS, UH, SHOULD BE DONE FOR, FOR NOW.
UM, AND THEN WE HAD OUR JOINT MEETING WITH TOWN COUNCIL ON MONDAY AND, UM, I BELIEVE STAFF AND, AND SUMMIT, WE GOT THE DIRECTION THAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR AND WE'LL HOPEFULLY BE BRINGING THIS BODY AND TOWN COUNCIL A DRAFT IN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE MONTHS.
