UH, MADAM DIRECTOR, COULD YOU UPDATE US ON THE STATUS OF OUR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN? YES.

UM, ALL RIGHT.

THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN HAS BEEN, OR THE UPDATES HAVE BEEN SENT TO SUMMIT.

THEY WILL BE COMPLETING THEM BY THE END OF THE WEEK.

UH, THEY WILL BE UPDATING THE FUTURE LAND USE CATEGORIES, UH, WITH THE AMENDMENTS THAT ARE SHOWN IN RED IN YOUR PACKETS.

AND THEN THE, UH, UPDATING THE MAPS PER THE SPREADSHEET, UH, ENTITLED, UH, MAP AMENDMENTS.

AND THEN THEY WILL BE ADDING IN THE COST ESTIMATES AND EDITING THE, UM, TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT TABLE THAT IS ALSO INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKET.

THAT'LL BE ADDED TO THE TRANSPORTATION CHAPTER.

SO THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO, UH, 1 75 DASH 1 37.

THIS IS TO ADD A LINE FOR THE LOCAL BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS APPLICATION.

THE BOARD VOTED TO, UM, CREATE A FEE OF $400 FOR SOMEBODY TO APPEAL, UM, A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE VIOLATION.

SO, UH, WE HAVE THIS, WE HAVE THE SCHEDULE OF FEES IN OUR ZONING ORDINANCE, THEREFORE, IT NEEDS TO COME TO THIS BODY FOR US TO ADD THIS FEE.

I CAN TAKE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS AND LET HAVE ALL THOSE, SO BASICALLY THIS DOES BOOKKEEPING FOR OUR STANDARDS SET THINGS.

OKAY.

BUT DOES IT REQUIRE PUBLIC HEARING ON OUR PART AND THE FORWARD TO COUNSEL FOR THEM TO FINALIZE IT? I I HAVE ONE QUESTION.

DOES THIS HELP US DEAL WITH THE EVER INCREASING PROBLEM WE HAVE OF CERTAIN LANDLORDS IN TOWN THAT ARE NOT COMPLYING WITH WHAT WE EXPECT THEM TO COMPLY WITH? WELL, SO WHAT THIS BOARD DOES IS THEY PROVIDE AN APPEALS MECHANISM FOR WHEN WE DO GO IN AND DO A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTION.

UM, LEGALLY THEY HAVE TO HAVE SOME WAY TO, TO POTENTIALLY COUNTER, UM, UNDERSTOOD OUR, UNDERSTOOD OUR CITATION.

SO THAT'S WHAT THIS, THIS BOARD DOES.

AND THEY, UM, BUT IN ORDER TO DO IT, THEY WOULD, WE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE THE APPLICATION.

IT'S, IT'S THE SAME PROCESS THAT SOMEBODY WOULD FILE TO LIKE COME BEFORE PLANNING COMMISSION.

WELL, FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH, WE HAD 45 ZONING PERMITS THAT WERE SUBMITTED AND WE OPENED UP 28 NEW CODE ENFORCEMENT CASES.

WE HAD TWO LAND USE APPLICATIONS, UH, THAT WERE SUBMITTED TO CODE AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS, UH, 15 BUSINESS LICENSES AND FIVE SIGNED PERMITS.

UM, AND WE ALSO HAD A BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW MEETING, AND THE BZA DID NOT MEET FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH.

UM, I WILL SAY YOUR CONSENT AGENDA, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS.

THIS WAS A, IT'S A PRETTY HEAVY AGENDA FOR NEXT MONTH.

WE HAVE PROVIDED ALL THE APPLICATION MATERIALS, SO IF YOU CAN, IF YOU DID PRINT IT, PLEASE KEEP IT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO REPRINT IT FOR THE WORK SESSION NEXT MONTH.
